Fun Hawaiian Culture Facts

Check out a fun website to learn more about the Hawaiian language here https://manomano.io/ Thanks for the inspiration for this page goes to our lovely napili realtor and the famous napili point mermaid - Lida Zwi

Piʻilani (ascent to heaven) was an important family who ruled as Mōʻī of the island of Maui in the later part of the 15th century. Piʻilani's is a descendant of Puna-i-mua. His father and grandfathers came from western Maui. Piʻilani began building a roadway to encircle the entire island, the first such road in the islands. It was completed by his son. Some sections of Piʻilani Highway follow the old path. In places, the old stones are still visible. Source - Wikipedia
